Former NBA player Michael Beasley has admitted on a show that he once defeated LeBron James in a 1-on-1 game, revealing the score was 11-9 and stating that the story had been misreported before.
During a livestream with renowned host Adin Ross, Beasley acknowledged his victory over James in a one-on-one matchup.

Ross asked: "Did you beat LeBron in a one-on-one game?"
Beasley replied: "Yes. I mean, this story has been mistold."

While much of Beasley's description was vague, when Ross pressed for the score, he answered: "9 to 11." Though Ross was shocked—even trying to confirm if he "dominated" the Lakers superstar—the former NBA player simply affirmed: "Yes."
Beasley's 1-on-1 skills were widely recognized in the NBA, with many deeming him one of the most talented one-on-one players in recent history. However, evidence of his win over James is scarce, as no spectators witnessed the game.
Rumors suggest the matchup occurred during James' tenure with the Miami Heat, with claims that Beasley had a 30-game winning streak against him. Despite these exaggerated reports from various sources, the fact remains: James is still regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, while Beasley is no longer in the NBA.

The former Heat forward has leveraged his skills in other arenas. In a high-profile 1-on-1 game against former Pacers player Lance Stephenson, Beasley showcased his elite scoring ability, defeating Stephenson 31-21.

Meanwhile, James continues to face unwarranted criticism as a scorer. Despite being the NBA's all-time leading scorer, the Lakers forward is often questioned for lacking offensive versatility. Addressing the "no skill package" narrative on his podcast, the 40-year-old joked: "People say I have no skills. I'm like, LeBron has no skills? I've scored over 50 billion points!" (an exaggeration of his 50,000+ career points). Giannis Antetokounmpo later shared the video, commenting: "Does anyone really believe one of the greatest players ever has no skills? Goodness, I've seen it all..."
